CONNECTIONS
a solo show at the Library Community Art Gallery
at the Walnut Creek Library

All of my work is about looking for connections between people and everything around us. The patterns I use are a suggestion of the unseen pattern of a larger system that unites us all. I’m excited to show lots of my larger works from the Life in a Day series of trees showing the passage of time along with some of my Attachments series.
(Please note that many of these pieces will be going to another show immediately after this one and so will not be available to be delivered until mid-December. Loaners can be arranged—thank you for your understanding)

When sunlight filters through trees, they purple in our vision, as motes and rays penetrate the leaves. This is especially noticeable at dusk, as everything takes on a violet shade, called the purkinge effect.
